Or as it says in The Message . . .
“Never walk away from someone who deserves help.
Your hand is God’s hand for that person.
Don’t tell your neighbor ‘Maybe some other time’
Or ‘Try me tomorrow.'”

These words remind me that the most important gifts
we can share with each other can’t be wrapped & placed under a tree.
Let’s not be stingy but give freely from our hearts—at Christmas time and all the year through.
